Mothers’ Union expresses its Christian identity through its life of prayer and worship. It is this spiritual life together which underpins our work with families and communities. Every day a wave of prayer goes around the world as members stop and pray in the middle of the day to pray for the work of Mothers’ Union and international issues. These daily prayers follow an annual pattern which means that every Mothers’ Union region is prayed for at least once during the year.

We never underestimate the power of prayer!
Through the development of faith, we deepen our relationship with God and with each other, articulating and translating our faith into action. Our faith runs like a river through all our activities.
A central part of our Mothers’ union vision is to enable parents in their role, encouraging them to grow the faith of their children. We offer support backed by resources for personal prayer, children’s spirituality, family worship, parish worship.
